The VIBGYOR Group of Schools' acclaimed initiative VIBGYORMUN is a simulation of the United Nations that offers young students a unique forum to Debate, Deliberate, Discuss, and Resolve international relations-related issues based on the actual policies of the nations they represent. Here students’ role play as diplomats of countries across different UN committees such as the WHO, World Bank, Security Council and others. The students debate and deliberate over burning global issues while exercising diplomacy through negotiations with fellow delegates and working towards passing a resolution on the given topic on the agenda. This initiative encourages students to develop vital skills that moulds them into leaders. Some of the skills, among many others, that they develop, are:

At VIBGYORMUN, regardless of whether you have prior Model UN experience or not, we make sure that every delegate learns about the procedures of international diplomacy and develops into a successful and informed global citizen who is aware of how decisions made by the nation they represent affect politics locally, regionally, and internationally. Therefore, it is not surprising that VIBGYORMUN, which began its voyage in 2011 with only 150 delegates, has advanced and exponentially expanded into one of the most coveted MUNs in the nation.
